Here is my first attempt at creating a poster. The hardest part of this project was coming up with the subject. Trying to decide on a topic was pretty hard for me. I work in psychiatry so I figured that I would do one on mental illness. Mental illness affects one in four people. When you think about that it is really staggering that one member of the family below probably has mental illness.

I like the design, If I could change something, I would add some kind of background behind the text that would make it easier to read. The duct tape could use some improvements as well. Check out the free transform tools under edit on the main tool bar in photoshop, I think the warp tool may have been of use here. Overall good design, this would definitely be a tough message to get across in a poster design.
